AWS Architecture Review & Design

Build on AWS with a blueprint, not guesswork.

The problem

AWS grew organically — a few services became dozens — and no one is fully sure it's secure, resilient, or built the right way.

The outcome

A clear architecture blueprint and prioritized remediation plan across security, reliability, performance, and cost, mapped to the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

What it is

An AWS Architecture Review is a fixed-scope engagement that answers a direct question with evidence: is your AWS environment built to be secure, reliable, and cost-aware — and if not, exactly what should change?

We review your accounts, networking, identity, data stores, and workloads against the AWS Well-Architected Framework — the same six pillars AWS itself uses: operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and sustainability. You leave with a blueprint and a ranked list of fixes, not a generic best-practices checklist.

How it works

  1. Discovery — read-only access to your AWS accounts plus a working session on how your workloads run and what matters most.
  2. Review — we assess account structure, IAM, network topology, data protection, backups, and single points of failure, scoring each finding by severity and effort.
  3. Blueprint — you get a target-state architecture diagram and a costed, 90-day remediation roadmap sequencing the high-impact fixes first.

Who it’s for

Teams running production workloads on AWS — or about to — who want confidence that the foundation is sound before they scale on top of it. Especially useful ahead of a growth push, a compliance requirement, or a migration.

What we look at

  • Security — IAM roles and least privilege, public exposure, encryption at rest and in transit, secrets handling, logging and audit trails.
  • Reliability — multi-AZ posture, backup and recovery, failure domains, and how the system behaves when something breaks.
  • Cost — obvious waste and right-sizing opportunities (a deeper pass lives in our Cloud Cost Optimization Assessment).
  • Operations — how you deploy, observe, and respond to incidents.
